Coming from a background of spiritual jazz like Alice Coltrane and the roots of Reggae, I look for music that carries a specific frequency. Boss B. Thunda’s TRUST THE PROCESS immediately hit that mark.

As a first-time listener to Boss B., this EP is literally music to my ears. Each instrumental delivers a soulful blend of blues, R&B, and trap. Additionally, the production creates the perfect canvas for his verses.

Chris Brown released his new single – Fallin featuring Leon Thomas, on May 1, 2026, which would appear on Brown’s upcoming album, BROWN. 

Rated R&B explained the development of Fallin – “the track has a bluesy edge, spirited by a mid-tempo groove with the smoothness of a weathered juke joint floor, where a sonorous bassline mumbles beneath percussive stabs. It’s here that Brown yearns with all his heart to mend a crumbling relationship.”

Brown released an official music video for Fallin. The eight-minute visual travels to the 1930s, which is the filmmaking ancestry of Harlem Nights, Idlewild, and Sinners. Usher and Tank made cameo appearances.
