Independent R&B Artist JeRonelle and Dende have participated the collaboration to release a latest song called “Right One, Wrong Time” on January 17, 2025 via JAPM Music Inc. 

Mike Hector and Billy Blunt co-produced this emotive track. JeRonelle and Dende explained about the deeper feeling of confronting a potential partner at an inappropriate time.

JeRonelle explained about the songwriting process of “Right One, Wrong Time.”

“It’s about having a deep connection with someone a coming to grips with the fact that timing and life’s complexities may not allow the relationship to flourish,” said JeRonelle. “It’s the kind of story that so many people can relate to, and I’m excited to share this vultnerable side my artistry.”

“Right One, Wrong Time” is the follow-up of JeRonelle’s single, “Alone” and his EP Regret & Reflect, also for Dende’s EP Wish You Were Here. A trip to the United Kingdom inspired them to create a small project.

Soul singer-songwriter Charlie Bereal released his latest single, “Hope” on January 15, 2025. On the spiritual anthem, which Bereal co-produced with Josef Liemberg, he provided uplifting words of wisdom for each and every person who is going through hard times in their lives.

“Hope” was regularly intended to be published as a contribution to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. which his birthday was on January 15. However, in the eye-opening of the trending horrific Los Angeles wildfires, “Hope” encourages listeners to hold the darker definition for the California native.

“Being a Pasadena/Atadena Native and watching my family church’s, homes, and businesses burn has been completely devastating for me and our community, But one thing that I know is that my city is strong, and we’re finding hope.” said Bereal.

“Hope” is the third single from Bereal’s upcoming debut album, “Walk With The Father,” which would be published on January 24, 2025, via Death Row Records/gamma. The song is a follow up from his previously singles: “Walk With The Father”, and “Never Gonna Take Away My Love”

Bereal continued to explained about the recent single, “Hope” on Rated R&B — “No matter what I do or where I go, I keep the love of Jesus in my heart. ‘Hope’ is a love letter to the FATHER and a testimony.”

According to Rated R&B, Bereal shared about his 13-track debut album — “‘Walk With The Father’ is the album my father always wanted me to make before he passed away. The album is who I am, my style, my vibe. Making this album with Josef Liemberg was fun; it gave everyone joy who would walk into the studio while working on it. It also brough Snoop and me together, and we bother listen to this style of music all the time. ‘Walk With The Father’ feels old school and new simultaneously.”

Ne-Yo released his latest single “Show Me” on December 13, 2024 via an Independent label, Compound Entertainment. On the Camper-produced song, Ne-Yo sang about interacting with a woman at a club, they have fun together, enjoying their company, and sharing their intimate connection in the bedroom.

“Show Me” released with a music video where Abo Raj and Desmond Dakura directe. It took place in Bangkok, Thailand which it shows Ne-Yo traveling a tailor shop which he met a sales associate (played by Nichakran Nabumrung) who adored him. Rated R&B stated that ”the bulk of the video is from her perspective, as she fantasizes about the two going on different dates and being wrapped in each other’s arms.”

On January 30, 2025, Ne-Yo would join Mary J. Bilge in “For My Fans Tour” to promote her latest album, Gratitude, along with his tourmate, Mario. They would hit roads across North America.

Ovrkast.’s use of uncluttered OG lyricism combined with melodies incorporating smooth jazz create a resonant experience. His narrative pays homage to the everyday ups and downs in life. There’s an elegance and finesse in his sound that comes unique in every generation of artists. The music’s sense of class and flow encourages contemplation and exploration. 

He gives the credit in his sound to artists like Knxwledge., Pink Siifu, Earl Sweatshirt (collaborating with Sweatshirt), Odd Future, Capital Steelz among others. The humility and honesty in his lines form a real connection with listeners, relating to life’s battles and hardships, fighting to overcome adversity. 

Alan Chazaro spoke to Ovrkast. in an interview back in 2022. The artist discussed the pandemic stunting his tours and collaborations, but like Ovrkast., he saw the positive side. He stated; 

“‘When I dropped Try Again and the pandemic happened, it was kind of a blessing because people were forced to sit down with it and actually listen,’ he says. ‘That was basically me coming to understand that art is a real process and I need to be patient. It’s not just lyrical or instrumental. It’s about the whole human experience. I’m still growing and changing as a young adult, and this album is a reflection of that.”

Ovrkast.’s newest single “BIPPERS JOINT” assures fans its business as usual, joining M.C. lyrics with a catchy beat and hook present throughout the song. His “Shadowbox” tour with Mavi! kicks off September 13 at the Howard Theater in D.C.

On September 6th A$AP Rocky and J. Cole released their single “Ruby Rosary”. The song’s been met with overwhelming positivity, with fans proclaiming the return of J. Cole. 

The track has an immediate gangster rap tempo, leaving plenty of room for descriptive, story-like lyrics that resonate with a purpose. A$AP Rocky can be heard falling into his old cadence and rhythm, generating a lot of excitement from fans. 

Cole’s entry around the 2:56 mark feels like diving into a sea of rhythm and rhyme. The melody guides like a current, with its melodramatic ambience giving a sense of somber, creating an eerie vibe for listeners.

Revolt reports that in a recent interview with Billboard, Rocky explains how the song relates to the dark side of current world affairs, like war and “the world dying and what not”. 

Rocky continues saying “At times like this, only two types of people strive and survive,” he goes on saying “I’m not trying to sound like I’m glorifying wars, (but) I think artists and druggies, they make it through. I mean, what (were) the hippies doing? They (were) getting high at Woodstock, and f**king, and having a great time, and having these hippie babies who subsequently had us.” 

Before its release, A$AP also had the pleasure of playing the new single for Beetlejuice director, Tim Burton.

“I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was f**king with it heavy,” Rocky confided, “He was rocking his head and he’s like, ‘Wow! I didn’t know you made that kind of music!’”
