After a Long Hiatus, and one-time special event last year, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is officially back on the broadcast
The organization has stated an October 15 broadcast for the 2024’s Fashion Show, with Grammy winner Tyla set as a musical Headliner. The singer would participate Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser and host of supermodels as they embrace their sexy lingerie in the recent Victoria’s Secret Fashion for the show.
Victoria’s Secret said they decided Tyla due to her “vibrant personality, and “innvovative take on pop and R&B”, making the way for the Afrobeats Star as an “integral” culture of the “entertainment, glamour, and fashion” of this year’s event. Other performers including Blackpink’s LISA, and Cher are also joining Tyla as well. It would be all-women performing line up in the first time in history.
“Growing up, I was captivated by the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – the stunning outfits, iconic wings, and charismatic models,” Tyla stated in a Press Release. “Now, I’m thrilled to be performing on this nostalgic and legendary stage. What’s even more exciting is the celebration of diversity, showcasing a broader range of beauty, which makes this moment truly special.”
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show had previously broadcasted on CBS, although it did not yet announced when is going to be returned on airwaves for this year’s event. The October show would reached the return of the “glitzy spectacle”, which was rejected in 2019, decreasing ratingm and adjusting perceptions of the brand’s promoting plans, and arrangement.
Victoria’s Secret made a press release statement: “glamour, wings, fashion and musical entertainment our customers know and love – with our values and brand mission of today at the forefront.”
The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be located at Brooklyn, New York on October 15.
