A$AP Rocky is well-prepared to publish his first album in six years.
The Harlem rapper debuted his first Paris fashion week on June 21 (Friday) with his AWGE collection titled “American Sabotage”, and portrayed three unpublished tracks during the fashion show. Once the presentation completed, a pre-save link, went live stream announcing the title of the album — “Don’t Be Dumb”, however, it became official that his new album would be released on August 30.
Flacko dressed in some items from the fashion show during his Rolling Loud concert in 2023. He also performed an unpublished song during his set with his song called Taylor Swift which could lead to controversy due to the accustation of Travis Scott. “First you stole my flow/ So I stole your b—h/ Then you stole my style/ I need at least 10 percent/ All due disrespect, I hope you take offense,” said A$AP Rocky. Travis Scott started an on-and-off relationship with Barbian singer, Rihanna in 2015, and A$AP Rocky accused him of plagiarism.
In the Dazed interview from 2023, Billboard discussed A$AP Rocky on the content of his new album. “feels like [his] best work yet. However, he didn’t go into much detail, telling the outlet, ‘I want to leave expectations wide and open. I don’t want to tell you what to expect. I just want people to experience it how they do naturally.’”
Last year, A$AP Rocky had published two latest songs: “Same Problems”, and “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n)”. A$AP Rocky is not sure if he going to place these singles on his upcoming album.
