Cardi B announced the 2018 follow-up to her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. Her upcoming sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, would be released on September 19, 2025, via Atlantic Records. The 23-track album would feature hit singles including “Outside”, “Up”, and “WAP”. It has been in the making for seven years.
Cardi B also teased her announcement on Instagram page, “seven years, and the time has come. Seven years of love, life, and loss. Seven years, I gave them grace, but, now, I give them hell. I learned power is not given; it’s taken. I’m shedding feathers and no more tears. I’m not back; I’m beyond. I’m not your villain; I’m your karma. The time is here. The time is now.”
