Dave East and Ransom published their collaborative album, “The Final Call” on February 21, 2025, via FTD/Momentum Entertainment, LLC. It features guest appearances including Jay Electronica, Method Man, Abby Jasmine, and Jadin Alexander. V Don, MadeinTYO, and Prophecy created this project as music producers, respectively.
This collaborative album came on the anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X, a decision Ransom reported was mainly purposeful.
“I have the deepest admiration for Brother Malcolm X,” said Ransom. “The fact that he died basically homeless and without riches tells me everything I needed to know about his character. ‘The Final Call’ releasing on the day he was killed is my way of showing appreciation through art.”
