Grammy-Award winning rapper, Doechii, released her official music video on April 18, 2025, with her latest hit single, “Anxiety”, which went viral on the following release from a previous month – March 4, 2025, via Top Dawg Entertainment and Capitol Records. The track has risen over 272 million global streams, especially 85 million in the United States alone.
James Macked directed the music video, which focuses on a glamorous home that creates a lot of chaos underneath the surface. Doechii traveled in a deluxe setting that was filled with discomposed scenes – “a blazing kitchen, a menacing kitchen, a menacing Doberman, crashing chandeliers, and sudden intruders” which reflects the mental concern the song explores. When Doechii breaks out on the street, a crowd of over 100 dancers around her, it signifies the stress that caused her anxiety.
“Anxiety” earned Doechii her first top 10 hit in the week of March 29, 2025 on the Billboard Hot 100, and continues to chart other positions, including smashing into the Mainstream Top 40 and Urban Radio.
