Halle Bailey rebounded with a recent single “Because I Love You” that was released on August 30, 2024, via Parkland Entertainment/Columbia Records.
Dem Jointz produced “Because I Love You”, and previously worked with various artists including Chris Brown, and Anderson .Paak, and Marsha Ambrosius.
Bailey co-wrote “Because I Love You” with RAYE. She explained her warmth for her partner throughout her unexpected outburst. Instead of being a little bit selfish to her partner, they continuously advocate for each other.
“‘Because I Love You’ is a song for anyone who has been deeply in love,” said Bailey. “It’s an anthem that tells the story of all of the beautiful passion and euphoria you can feel with that person.”
Bailey combined “Because I Love You with a music video that Allie Vital directed, and Lottie Abrahams produced. This video shows Bailey’s incredible acting skills. Bailey also explained about the content of the music video.
“The video dives deeper into how vulnerable it makes you feel,” said Bailey. “I hope people enjoy listening and thinking of the person they love the most.”
“Because I Love You” is Bailey’s sophomore single of 2024. In March, she previously published “In Your Hands” which it peaked at number three on the Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart.
