K DUB NEVERDIE: Representing Gary, Indiana with Authenticity and Purpose

Gary, Indiana has birthed legends, and K DUB NEVERDIE is here to remind the world that the city’s talent runs deep. Hailing from GIB West 5th Avenue, he’s carrying on a tradition of raw, unfiltered artistry while shifting the narrative on his hometown. “It’s a real place, and if you believe YouTube, it’s the most miserable city in America,” K DUB NEVERDIE says. “It’s a lot of history to it, and it would probably shock most of the people that are from there that never knew about it… but that’s a story for another day.”

Despite the city’s struggles, the music scene is rich with talent. “The music scene has always been flooded with talent for decades. Let’s not get on the number 1 artist ever being from there… but as far as the scene, you got the ones really making noise right now like Skrewly G, Gibbs, Yoson Tala, Nappy 3700, Mr. King… but you also got legends like Original Menace, CCA, Will Skrill, The Grind Family, Thugged Out, Ric Jilla, Sydewayz… I could be here all day,” he says. Limited resources have made it hard for some artists to break out, but K DUB NEVERDIE is determined to change that through his movement, Never Die World. “Never Die World is all about changing the lens on the city with good music and films. From Pain to Purpose

Like any artist with real stories to tell, K DUB NEVERDIE pulls from his experiences. “Been through a lot… seen a lot… just like everybody else. You can’t put a price on pain, so I won’t sit here and say mine was more expensive than others… but it was up there,” he reflects. His upbringing gave him a unique perspective, blending spiritual wisdom with the survival skills necessary for his environment. “I had guidance from both sides of the line… spiritually and survival in the environment long before I came outside… to make a long story short. RIP Marvin Mosley (11th Ave. Syndicate). My mother and grandmother gave me the urge to find your purpose and seek truth in things. Momma was a double-sided coin… she could move in both circles. I try to bring all that out in my music. Not to mention my personal baggage… lol. I’ll let y’all listen. Never Die World promise to make it interesting.”

Motivated by Faith and Family

When asked about his greatest source of inspiration, K DUB NEVERDIE keeps it simple: “God first.” But beyond that, he has an extra A&R in his corner—his youngest son Kash. “If I make a track or play a track and he comes in and doesn’t like or ignores it totally… back to the drawing board. If he starts freestyling or two-stepping… we might be working with something.”

“Tell Em” – A Message in the Music

K DUB NEVERDIE’s latest single, “Tell Em,” is more than just a track—it’s a statement. “Gotta give ‘em brain food sometimes. Everything ain’t gotta be throwing ass and sliding,” he says. In a time when mainstream rap often leans toward the superficial, K DUB NEVERDIE is making music with substance.

As the founder of Never Die World, K DUB NEVERDIE is making moves beyond music. “Never Die World, a Gary, Indiana-based music and film production company,” is not just a brand—it’s a vision. His project Evolution Volume 1: Loud Music is out on all platforms, and he’s expanding into film with Rain Chapter 1: The Come Up premiering in February 2025. “Happy Hour coming soon (Never Die World Original Film),” he adds, proving that he’s playing the long game.
