Vultures 1, a newly released album by Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign, is bringing up some serious accusations against West.
It started with Ozzy Osborne calling out West on X, formerly Twitter, saying that he asked for permission to sample a section of a live performance of ‘War Pig’, but was denied because “he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.” Osborne went on to say that he wants no association with West and shared this message across all of his social media platforms to make his stance on the situation crystal clear.
Osborne was then backed up by his wife, Sharon, who claimed that “Kanye f—ked with the wrong Jew this time.” She called him a “disrespectful antisemite who represents hate” and told Billboard that among the many requests they get for those songs, they said “no way” when it came to West’s request.
Next on the list of West’s not-so-biggest fans is Donna Summer’s Estate, who have accused him of copyright infringement. Allegedly, West used a sample of the late Summer’s hit song ’I Feel Love’ in his new song ‘Good (Don’t Die)’, despite his request do to so being denied. A statement was put out on Summer’s Instagram page saying that he asked for permission, was denied, and that he “changed the words, had someone re-sing it, or used AI but it’s I Feel Love…”. They also made sure to tag Sharon Osborne, along with Ty Dolla Sign, Warner Chappell Music, and Universal Music Group, who are all affiliated with West and the album.
The Osbourne’s have reportedly issued a cease and desist, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Summer’s estate were to do the same soon. Neither West nor Ty Dolla Sign have responded to these accusations yet.
