Leon Thomas released “Rather Be Alone” with a duet with Halle on April 18, 2025, via EZMY Records and Motown Records.
“Rather Be Alone” — Thomas’s latest Motown R&B single provides a raw emotion of lyrics where he decides to avoid his significant other, who does not want him anymore.
According to Mixtape Madness, “A hypnotic blend of R&B infused with smoky soul and rock influences, the track is a soulful reckoning about walking away when love no longer serves you, and choosing personal peace over the chaos of what once was. Thomas is enjoying success on his sophomore album MUTT, which was released last September, where he created a contemporary modern R&B classic record and introduced himself as a talented musician who provided hard work and greatest hits.
