Grammy-Award winning musician Leon Thomas released a deluxe album on his sophomore album, MUTT–HEEL on May 30, 2025, via EZMNY/Motown Records. The extended project goes into the deep end of Leon Thomas’s brave, distinct world with a fearless combination – psychedelic rock, R&B, and neo-soul. It features guest appearances from Kehlani, Big Sean, and Halle.
According to The Source, “anchored by the emotionally charged single ‘NOT FAIR,’ HEEL explores the seductive chaos of love and vulnerability. The track’s haunting piano and layered harmonies underscore a passionate push-pull narrative, as Thomas chases a connection that both comforts and unravels him.”
In April 2025, Thomas released Rather Be Alone featuring Halle. HEEL helped Thomas to progress in the R&B market in his music journey. “Their duet, a smoky blend of R&B and rock, has resonated with fans as a soulful anthem of self-preservation.”
