Progression–R&B singer-songwriter Leven Kali released his recent single, “Crystal Ball,” on May 2, 2025, via Def Jam Recordings.
Kali co-wrote and co-produced the track with his longtime collaborators Daniel Memmi and Sol Was. Rated R&B explained about the composition of “Crystal Ball” that “is driven by the force of rock-leaning guitars and percussion, yet still maintains the essence of emotion rooted in R&B. Lyrically, the song declares Kali’s devotion to a love interest if given the chance.”
“Crystal Ball” developed incredible music for Kali this year, featuring his outstanding singles “Are U Still” and “Pieces.” Each individual track is a throwback classic, with live instrumentation willing to expand the audience, and Kali’s skyrocketing vocals rising to the roof—“a night of euphoria.”
