Jacquees Returns with Sultry New Album ‘Baby Making’ via Cash Money Records
Multiplatinum R&B sensation Jacquees has officially announced his highly anticipated new project, Baby Making. As his first full-length release in two years, the album follows his 2022 effort, Sincerely For You. Known for his smooth and seductive style, the artist delves deep into the soulful roots of R&B with this 10-track collection. Consequently, Baby Making is set to arrive on November 15 through Cash Money Records/Republic Records.
Inspiration Behind the Project
The concept for the album stems from a very personal place for the singer. “What inspired Baby Making is me actually having a baby,” Jacquees explains. “This year, Birdman gave me the idea, and I instantly mixed my creativity into my life. This project is very special; it’s for the lovers. This is what the world needs. Love and beautiful healthy happy babies.”
In-Store Signings and Fan Events
Following the release, fans will have the opportunity to meet the artist during two special in-store signings. The first event will take place on November 15 at Criminal Records in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. After that, he will appear at Shuga Records in Chicago, Illinois, on November 19. Both occasions will provide fans with a unique opportunity to connect with the music while celebrating this new release.
A Nostalgic R&B Atmosphere
Furthermore, Jacquees’s Baby Making confirms his classic approach to temptation, utilizing a throwback R&B sound to capture the genre’s sensuality and intensity. According to Rated R&B, “A few snippets from Baby Making are played in a trailer for the project, which recalls a late-night slow jams CD commercial from the ’90s and 2000s.”
