Khalid Sincere Album Release Date Announced

Khalid Sincere Album details have been revealed as Alternative-R&B singer-songwriter Khalid confirmed his upcoming album, “Sincere.” The highly anticipated project will be released on Friday, August 2, through Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records.

Khalid Shares The Meaning Behind “Sincere”

“‘Sincere’ is a combination of my life experiences. It takes inspiration from conversations that I have had with my fans, supporters, and the people that love me,” said Khalid.

Khalid continued, “When I listen back to this project, I hear a sound that’s so unique and represents me at my best. This album is me at 26, continuing to evolve with the knowledge that I have garnered throughout the years.”

The 16-track “Sincere” album includes two recent singles: “Please Don’t Fall in Love With Me” and “Adore U.” Digi and Justin Lucas produced the project.

Khalid Releases “Adore U” And “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me”

“‘Adore U’ is one of my favorite records. It delivers a melancholic experience filled with ethereal melodies and soulful vocals, setting the tone for my upcoming album that I can’t wait for my fans to experience,” Khalid explained.

Khalid began his album era with “Please Don’t Fall in Love With Me” released on May 10.

“The last few years consisted of me working diligently on what I presume to be my best and most personal album yet,” Khalid noted when he released the song.

“I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time in the studio working with some of my favorite creatives just to deliver this amazing body of work. Now I finally get to share a piece of me in my new era with my day one fans!” Khalid continued.

“Sincere” Follows Khalid’s “Free Spirit” Album

“Sincere” serves as the follow-up to Khalid’s 2019 sophomore album, “Free Spirit.” The album reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart, marking Khalid’s first chart-topper in his music career.

The double-platinum album featured two Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 singles: “Better” (peaking at No. 8) and “Talk” featuring Disclosure (peaking at No. 3). “Talk” became the highest-charting single of Khalid’s career.

The song also spent 13 weeks at number one on the Adult R&B Airplay chart. “Better” was certified 6x Platinum, while “Talk” was certified 7x Platinum.
