London-native singer-songwriter, Natanya, released her new single, “DON’T ASK”, on April 17, 2026, via Human Re Sources. She wrote and co-produced this track with Oscar Scheller.
DON’T ASK is a Y2K-Influence song that combines Pop and R&B, altogether. However, the songstress embraces her female empowerment, learning to be more outspoken and seeking independence.
Natayna explained about the development of the song:
“This song began as a set of chords I put together on my Yamaha E.Piano. I’d thought up a hook and started writing more lyrics while in the studio. Oscar Scheller brought it to life with synths, MIDI strings, and acoustic piano – I really wanted to give it that marching band feel. It’s an anthem about girl power, agency, and refusing to wait for permission.”
