During the 66th Annual Grammy Award, SZA made a debuted song called “Saturn” during the Mastercard Commercial. She released the studio version of the track on February 22, 2024, as a lead single of her upcoming third album, Lana (2024).
Due to the commercial success of SZA’s second studio album, “SOS” (2022) which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart, and its five Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit singles, SZA was part of the company of stars during the evening event at the 2024’s Grammy Awards. She received three Grammy Awards for “Best R&B Song” for “Snooze”, “Best Progressive R&B Album” for “SOS”, and “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for “Ghost in the Machine” with Phoebe Bridgers. However, she became the most Grammy-nominated artist, she did not become the most Grammy-Award winner of 2024. Therefore, she shared with Bridgers to team up with four total achievements.
Starting her victory, SZA took the Grammy performances to sing two songs for “SOS” for the viewers: “Snooze”, and “Kill Bill”. During the final performance, she and the other 12 women who participated in a “Kill Bill”-themed outfit were fighting with men to battle each other. To one extent, SZA launched a guy in the air herself as she was continuously singing.
