Eminem Album fans finally have an official release date. Recently, Eminem confirmed that his upcoming 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), will arrive on July 12. On July 1, he revealed the announcement through a chilling horror-inspired trailer that immediately captured the attention of hip-hop fans worldwide.

The LP will arrive on July 12. Then, Eminem revealed the date on social media in true Slim Shady style. Meanwhile, its scary trailer features the birth of a devil baby.

“OH SH*T!!! THE DEATH OF SLIM SHADY (COUP DE GRÂCE) 7/12,” Eminem captioned the trailer.

Horror-Themed Trailer Builds Excitement

In the trailer, a woman gives birth to a baby. Soon, the scene becomes frightening when the baby struggles to breathe. Next, a doctor gives the newborn several slaps to help it breathe.

However, everyone soon realizes something is wrong. Then, the baby opens its dark eyes, sticks out its tongue, and grows a pair of horns. As a result, everyone in the room screams, “Holy s–t!”

Finally, “Houdini” plays in the background. At the same time, the clip officially confirms the album title and release date.

“I have not felt this much excitement for an album in so long,” one fan wrote on X.

Houdini and Tobey Continue the Album Rollout

Meanwhile, July is a busy month for Eminem. He followed “Houdini” with the new single “Tobey,” featuring Detroit natives BabyTron and Big Sean. Additionally, Cole Bennett directed the “Tobey” music video, and it premiered on July 5.
