Kanye Latest Album Vultures 1, a newly released project by Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign, is bringing up serious accusations against West.
Ozzy Osbourne Speaks Out Against Kanye West
The controversy started when Ozzy Osbourne called out West on X, formerly Twitter. Osbourne said West asked for permission to sample a section of a live performance of “War Pigs,” but he denied the request because “he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.”
Osbourne said he wanted no association with West. He also shared the message across his social media platforms to make his stance on the situation clear.
Sharon Osbourne Supports Her Husband’s Claims
Osbourne’s wife, Sharon, later supported his comments. She claimed that “Kanye f—ked with the wrong Jew this time.” She called West a “disrespectful antisemite who represents hate” and told Billboard that they receive many requests to use those songs, but they said “no way” to West’s request.
Donna Summer’s Estate Accuses West of Copyright Issues
Donna Summer’s Estate also accused West of copyright infringement. They claim West used a sample of Summer’s hit song “I Feel Love” in his new track “Good (Don’t Die)” after his request to use the song was denied.
A statement on Summer’s Instagram page said West asked for permission but was rejected. The statement claimed he “changed the words, had someone re-sing it, or used AI but it’s I Feel Love…”
The estate also tagged Sharon Osbourne, Ty Dolla Sign, Warner Chappell Music, and Universal Music Group, who are all connected to West and the album.
Vultures 1 Controversy Continues
The Osbournes have reportedly issued a cease and desist, and Summer’s estate could potentially take similar action. Neither West nor Ty Dolla Sign has responded to the accusations surrounding Vultures 1.
