Chicago artist, producer, and DJ TP Corleone releases his new single/music video “Down to the Ground” via Wake Up! Music. The track blends nu-dance house music with hints of disco, creating a retro-inspired sound filled with contagious energy.
“Down to the Ground” features the soulful vocals of Joi Courtenay. Her evocative, seductive tones bring vibrant emotion to the lyrics. They create a warm melody that contrasts with Corleone’s rapping-lite flow.
Corleone began Deejaying at popular Chicago venues such as High Ricky’s, Dating Game, Dragon Room, and 160 Blue. There, he showcased original singles including “Ghetto Steppin,” “Getcha Club On,” “Let’s Get It Together,” and “Bendat Azzova.”

Influenced by Chicago’s signature house music sound and the funk bands he grew up listening to, Corleone became an important part of the city’s hip-hop scene. He blends these influences into his unique musical style.
