Daniel Villegas brings his hip hop and poetry work together through six videos on his official YouTube channel. Based in the Hudson Valley, New York, Villegas works as an emcee, poet, live performer, and workshop teacher. His creative practice includes freestyle poems built from audience suggestions, alongside recorded music and spoken-word pieces.
The music-video selection includes Time Travel and Jaguar, which feature Villegas’s live rap performances and were filmed by Quanah J. Hicks. Chandelier was filmed by Phanatiks Entertainment. Fly adds another entry to the collection.
