Nigerian-English musician and producer Noxz released his latest single “Dreaming Wide Awake” with English singer-songwriter and producer Sipprell on March 9, 2026, via Stereofox Records.
“Dreaming Wide Awake” is the lead single from Noxz’s upcoming debut album, Safe To Be. The album is set to drop on June 15, 2026, through Stereofox Records. In addition, the track follows his 2025 EP, Tones + Silhouettes.
The concept of the song is the form of joy that feels bizarre, which encourages the listeners to understand the psychological nature of a dream. The song also appears in Sipprell’s incredible neo-soul vocal range and her poetic songwriting skills.
“It’s about that rare kind of joy that feels surreal – when you’re fully awake but everything around you feels like a dream. After the release of my album, Tones + Silhouettes, this felt like opening a new room in the same house. More vulnerable, more spacious, more me,” said Noxz.
